Terrang comes from two words, Terra; earth or land in Latin language and rang which means color in Hindi.

Respecting this philosophy, our products live by the ethos of being colorful and worldly. We work with native tribes, respecting their tradition and matching them to modern life. We use local natural products to promote their homeland’s beauty and their roots. Colorful fabrics, various patterns, different textures are some main aspects of Terrang. We focus on something lively, original, durable and beautiful to look at.

The designer Tomomi Yamamoto started to make bags with kimono fabrics, however she does not want to limit her products only in Kimono. By living in different countries, she encountered beautiful fabrics and textiles and she wants to work with them in Terrang.
